Stylish, toasted, creamy.
This handpicked estate Chardy was fermented in tank (15%) and oak (85%) with different strains of yeast to add complexity; it went through partial mololactic fermentation and was aged 8-months in assorted oak barrels.
Spiced butter and lemon curd, toasted oak and vanilla aromas are layered with grilled golden apples, pineapple and musk melon. The palate is equally toasted and rich; butterscotch, vanilla and spiced nut flavours dominate. It has a creamy demeanor carved of by bright acidity.
